Cristina Mota, PhD, has a background in Artificial Intelligence and her research focuses on Natural Language Processing (NLP) over 25 years.
She is currently a research associate at INESC-ID working on paraphrasing systems, and advisor for NLP and EdTech startups like NoahZ, Mucktracker, and Fab Lab School, and has also been a collaborator of other technology driven organizations and events like the Technology Transfer Days, IA Gateway, Linguateca, and also the Innovation Team of the American Red Cross.
She has been an early childhood robotics educator for 8 years and founder/CEO of Kinderbots.org, a non-profit focused on teaching children computer science and robotics. She is now part of the Togetherhood providers network.
